White-Label Restaurant Ordering SaaS

LetMenu

We built LetMenu's SaaS platform end to end. It gives restaurants their own branded ordering system (a mobile app, a web ordering site and a management dashboard) so they can sell direct instead of paying 15–30% commission to marketplaces.

Overview

The project at a glance

The challenge

Restaurants relying on delivery marketplaces give away 15–30% of every order, sit next to competitors on the same screen, and never own their customer relationship. A custom app is out of reach for most of them in cost and time.

Who it's for

Restaurant owners and branch managers who need to run orders, menus and staff from one place; and their customers, who want a quick, familiar way to order delivery or pickup.

Our solution

A white-label SaaS where every restaurant gets its own branded app, web ordering site and dashboard on one shared platform. New restaurants can be configured and launched in about 48 hours, on a flat subscription with no per-order commission.

Challenges

What we had to solve

  1. 01Giving every restaurant its own branding on one shared platform
  2. 02Launching a new restaurant in days, not months
  3. 03Supporting multiple branches with their own hours, zones and fees
  4. 04Making sure no order is missed during a busy service
  5. 05Handling phone and walk-in orders alongside online ones
  6. 06Keeping the app, website and dashboard perfectly in sync

Our approach

How we delivered it

  1. 1

    Discovery

We studied how independent and multi-branch restaurants actually take orders, and where marketplace commission and tool sprawl hurt them most.

  2. 2

    Architecture

A multi-tenant platform: one code base and API, with each restaurant's branding, menu, branches and settings configured as data.

  3. 3

    UX strategy

A fast customer flow (choose delivery or pickup, browse, customise, check out, track), and a dashboard designed for the pace of a live kitchen.

  4. 4

    Technology choice

Flutter for the customer apps on iOS and Android, Laravel and MySQL for the API, dashboard and web ordering.

  5. 5

    Delivery

Built in iterations with real restaurant menus, so features like sound alerts, manual orders and receipt printing were shaped by daily use.
